LIVING AN AUTHENTIC LIFE
Q: I have this feeling that I can't do many things that others can. For
instance, I have little guts to try out things that are not familiar to
me. I feel that I am incapable to mix around. When the task gets bigger,
the feeling of fears set in, making it difficult for me to move ahead.
What can I do?
A: You put yourself on a crossroad every time with the battling choice
of either I will, I won't, I can't or I can when there is a need to move
ahead. This paralysing feeling is because, over the years, you have built
too many rules, guidelines and principles. While they are good as a form
of discipline, many of them have become obsolete and irrelevant, but yet
you made the choice to still abide by them. So you are programmed by fear
and the shortest answer to your question is to reprogramme yourself to
have more freedom in your life.
POWERFUL QUESTIONS. What are laws that you have built in your life? Are
other people having the same laws like you? Can you find others breaking
out of such laws? What are their gains? What are the losses or gains for being so obedient to these laws? What will you change? How can you live a
life of greater freedom?
